MCKEEN CENTER SUMMER FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION 2024

This form includes applications for all McKeen Center Summer Fellowships (see below list to read more information about each fellowship). The form will ask you if you are applying to EACH of these fellowships and you should indicate YES or NO, based on whether you are applying to that specific fellowship. The order of fellowships listed below mirrors the order it will appear in the application. 
 
You can and are encouraged to apply to as many McKeen Center fellowships as you are eligible for.
 
MCKEEN CENTER SUMMER FELLOWSHIPS
  • Maine Community Fellowship (application information): This fellowship provides students the opportunity to work and serve in the local community by way of a placement in a specific organization to address community issues while strengthening campus-community partnerships.
  • Global Citizens Fellowship (application information): This fellowship provides students with the opportunity to pursue community-oriented summer volunteer and public service projects outside of the United States.
  • Denning Summer Fellowship (application information): This fellowship allows rising seniors to work with non-profits around the U.S. on issues they are passionate about and bring those experiences back to Bowdoin in an academic context.

BOWDOIN PUBLIC SERVICE FELLOWSHIPS
  • Maine Government Fellowship (application information): The Maine Government Fellowship will offer students an opportunity to work with a pre-determined state or local government office in the state of Maine.
  • Washington, DC Fellowship (application information): The Washington, DC Fellowship will offer students an opportunity to work at the federal, state, or local government office in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
