Bowdoin Alternative Break Trip Leader Application
Part 1 - Individual Form

Thank you for your interest in being an Alternative Break (AB) leader.  This form must be completed individually by each co-leader for the trip you are proposing.

After submitting this form, co-leaders should work together to complete Part 2, the Trip Proposal.

All application materials are due on Wednesday, April 14, 2020.  Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee comprised of staff, faculty and past AB leaders.  An interview will be required of prospective leaders.

Have you ever participated in a Bowdoin Alternative Break trip?
Van certified drivers are needed for most trips. To become van certified, you must be 18 years old and have had your license for at least one year. Please let us know which of the following is applicable to you.
The weekly Trip Leader seminar is required. Because course block times continue to evolve, we are deciding whether to hold the leader seminar on either Tuesday nights (7-8pm) or Mondays at lunch (~Noon-1pm). Which schedule can you commit to?
All leader applications are subject to review from the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs. Are you currently in good social and academic standing with the College?
